Nothing special at all. I looked it over. In game 1 he got a primary assist and a secondary assist. Last night he got a secondary assist and then a primary assist on an empty net goal.

He’s a good player but some people seem to think he’s on par with guys like Lemieux/Gretzky/Crosby/Sakic/Jagr etc and no he is not.
New team, it will take time for him to get comfortable.

Didnt watch the game, have only seen a period of leafs hockey so far (been highlight viewing them), but from the highlights this Primeau kid looked a little shaky. Could just be cause its his first game with the leafs, so hopefully he settles in.
Any word on Woll?

Yup, he’s on pace for 82 points now due to his game against the flames lol
As everyone and their mom said, Marner will get his reg season points and points in games 1 – 4 in a playoff series. But disappear after that.
Not sure why some are still trying to brag about a couple of assist here or there.

Watching Nylander sit in Milan saying shit like “eventually it has to happen” in regards to winning a Cup is such a joke. No William, the Stanley Cup isn’t a participation award. You don’t win it just because it’s your turn. Maybe instead of sipping on a Negroni in Milan, you should spend more time working your ass off in the gym and training to actually earn a Stanley Cup instead of thinking it’s just going to fall into your lap one day because it’s “about time”.

It would be really interesting to see what the Leafs could get for Nylander, Matthews, Rielly etc. and just blow the team apart. It could certainly fast track a rebuild if the Leafs could acquire half a dozen top tier prospects and/or 1st round picks. Unfortunately, until they have their own 1st round pick, blowing up the team and tanking isn’t an option. But they can go back to tanking in 2028 and if the return on Matthews + Nylander etc. is big enough, they could have a completely different base of players under the age of 25 (including retaining Knies and Cowan).

So now you’re angry about Nylander in Milan over the summer? LOL Anything to whine eh?
As predicted, it didnt take for leafs to recall Cowan. How long he stays…we’ll see.

Plus they have more well rounded team with more weapons in my opinion. Hoping its a tigers win.
