If they don’t trade Marner’s rights are you going to be mad when they say “they tried” as you requested here?Also, for the record, Marchment has a 10 team no trade list. How do you know the leafs weren’t on it?
In addition, considering how many people talk about Marchment as the prototypical “power forward” the leafs need (which any team would need) he went for a paltry trade of mid picks. Let’s not overblow this guy’s abilities.I hope we hear of the Knies and JT signings soon though!
Dallas had to dump salary, they werent getting full value for him in a trade….so it impacted what they got.

Sorry, zero faith in Matthews.
He has been as bad, or worse, than Marner in the playoffs. How he gets a free pass, year after year is ridiculous.Cause he’s a center that use to score a lot….just not a lot in the playoffs.

Marner hasnt played a full 82 game season since 2017
He’s only ever hit 100pts ONCE in a season….sure he had seasons where he was on pace for more than 100pts…..but the reality is….he didnt finish with 100pts.Cush29

this was my post, reponse to horseyWillie and Marners 5v5 stats were almost the same
on ice goals 11-8 and 10-8 in almost the same 200mins in the playoffs.pretty much every other stats are very similar.
