Yeah, he’s listed at 6-2 210 and looks like a young kid sitting next to the giant Danny Briere.
Like to see how each of the following fare next year: Barkley, Bonk, Bump, Grebyonkin, Gill and Z (goalie in Russia). There are also a couple over in Europe playing, and not sure whether they will come to LHV next year.
I think Barkey and Bonk will do well enough in LHV to get a few games with the Flyers. Maybe more depending on injuries. Bump and Grebyonkin might too, depending on need and how well they do. I think Bonk can be a top 4 Dman here in due time.
I think the Flyers need a goalie and a top 4 D-man before they need help up front. Draft for offense, acquire defense.
Keep this in mind during free agent talk. Some teams are in states that don’t have an income tax:

Was well regarded in Pittsburgh where he won two more cups as an assistant. That led to HC gigs where he didn’t get golden opportunities but I think the teams overperformed at least in stretches. They need at least a stop gap #1 goalie this coming year. If they don’t get that, even Scotty Bowman couldn’t make this team competitive. So, I’m OK with it.
Markstrom was pretty amazing vs. Carolina in that first OT in the elimination game. Best period of goaltending I’ve seen in a while. Of course, it’s only one period. I’m sure NJ would like to keep Allen, but the Flyers can offer more starts. With a solid base and incentives for starts, I think they could make Allen a nice offer if they targeted him.
