I can’t begin to tell you how much I dislike EP11.6 but I don’t see a hurry for trading him at his lowest point. I think in two years his salary will be acceptable league wide and have more value. It also takes the pressure off Cootes and Malhotra to hurry up the process. I hate the selfish prick but I can ignore him for two years. I do like Hronek but again wait until his NMC expires and you can have a list of 17 teams that he can be traded to while protecting the young guys this year and next.

I understand EP40 is a great shot blocker!

    LOL.

He also took 1,353 total face-off draws, which ranked him 20th overall in the NHL. That’s an issue for the team, they need a healthy Rossi.

You can’t ignore anything for two years, who are you kidding, haha. But I do agree with you in that his salary will be second line center money after next season and he buys time for kids to develop.

If Aquilini has to go back to square one, why not reduce costs? This isn’t a playoff team?

Yeah, I agree, but if they do reduce operating costs on player salary I have they use that space to their advantage come next deadline to acquire more draft capital.

Not a lot going on these days as far as the Canucks go. I read yesterday the Aquilini’s want to reduce payroll by as much as 20 million this season, times are either tough with Aquilini Holdings or the Canadian peso is really hurting some of the Canadian owners.

Reading about the Alex Edler signing this morning, so we’ve gone from Swedes playing for the team to now managing and running the team.

I don’t think there’s enough depth within the Canucks organization, at any position, considering what Seattle wants for him, to make it make sense for Vancouver to acquire him. Pass for me…

Remember that time when JR and PA were pressuring Bruce Boudreau to play Quinn Hughes as a center? Good times….

    Those clowns were terrible.

Such a dysfunctional organization and it all starts with poor/crazy ownership.

Perhaps EP40 will be a good mentor to Cootes & Caleb Malhotra!

Zip it snow Mexican, 11.6 million will be average salary for a good 60 point second line center but the end of the upcoming season. 😎

Flyers 18 million a year over five years…

“If Anaheim declines to match the 5-year, $90M offer sheet Leo Carlsson signed with Philadelphia, the Ducks will receive the Flyers’ next four first-round draft picks as compensation.”
