I love how Sullivan missed the playoffs 3 straight years in PITT, he leaves and they’re right back in a playoff spot. Meanwhile I don’t think I’ve watched a worse Rangers team in the last 15 years. Disgusting

Man JT Miller is incredibly disappointing. Fire sale cannot start soon enough

U mean trading for a guy in his 30’s and giving up a top 15 pick wasn’t a good idea?

The best course of action is to sell and get (4) 1st round picks going into this draft.

If we sell we’d likely end up in the bottom 5 of the league, maybe pair 2 of the picks to move into the teens. Top 5, top 20 and a pick in the 20’s to go along with multiple 2nds should be the mindset going into the deadline.

What worries me is when we get “prospects” back that Drury has supposedly been “watching/liked for a long time” like Parsennin, Brisson, Blais etc. His judge of talent is suspect at best.

There were ways to salvage this team at the end of last year but Drury has completely killed the culture. It’s time for a full tear down and rebuild but my faith that he will do what’s best for the future of this organization is next to none.

Jan, what is up with the delay in the blogs showing up. The “similar issues” blog just popped up for me an hour ago and already has a forum, but the last blog never had a forum. Very difficult to hold conversation on this site when the blogs take 5+ hours to get approval from moderation and the forums never match up to the blogs.

Still not in the forums and my comment has been awaiting moderation for hours in the newest blog. This site needs some fixes.

Get rid of Fox. I’ve said it for years. He’s to small, overrated, always hurt. Get what you can and move on.

TJ, what’s best for the future success of this organization is to sell off and build for the future. Do I think drury will do that? No. I think he’ll do whatever he needs to to save his own skin regardless of what’s best for the franchise.

This is a deeeeep draft, and we have some pieces that could get us multiple 1st and 2nd round picks going into it. To waste picks adding, stay status quo and see what happens or lose a guy like Panarin for nothing (I’m strongly against signing a 35 year old for 10 million+) only hurts us down the road. This isn’t a win now team, and it’s certainly not a playoff team.

I’m over the Drury debate, it’s no longer a debate, hes horrendous.

TJ, the forever optimist. And I say that in a good way.

But put the everything is rose colored glasses down for a minute and be realistic. This team has to many holes.

Allowing Panarin to walk for nothing would set this franchise back tremendously. His ridiculous asking price for a guy that will be 35+ is a hard non-starter.

Our bottom 6 is a mess and we’ve put ourselves in an uphill battle for playoff positioning.

What drury has done, clearly hasn’t worked. As much as you want to call him a genius, he isn’t one and has hurt the future of this organization tremendously.

Quote isn’t working, but Brukie. If drury does what’s best for this organization, he sells everyone he can.

Do I think that’s what he’ll do? No, bc he’s a weasel that’s worried about nothing but his own job.

    Panarin for a 1st 2nd and prospect

Trocheck for a 1st 3rd and prospect (look at the Nelson deal from last year)

    Soucy for a 3rd

Carrick for a 2nd or 3rd (seems crazy but I really don’t think it is)

    Brodzinski for a 5th

Get whoever else u can to waive. Load up on draft picks, tank the season and hope we land in the top 5. This is a deep draft, having 4 1st in a draft like this would be huge for the future of this organization.

The problem with Mika is ….. Mika. I doubt he waives to go anywhere. Would be nice though to move on from him.

From where we were 5 years ago to now, how can anyone defend Drury still?

Agreed, an embarrassment tonight and I think it forces their hand. Sullivan was the wrong choice which I said the second he was hired. Guy hasn’t won a playoff series in 8 years and has been knocked out of the first round in 3 of the 4 he did make it to the playoffs. He gets credit for taking over a team with 2 generational talents in their prime and a nice supporting cast. He’s done nothing since. Connor Sheary being on this team should say it all, but on top of that he plays him on the top line!!!! Disgraceful what this organization has become. Drury is to blame for 95% of this mess and I’m being generous.

Anyone else lose connection when they submit posts? Anything more than a sentence I always copy bc it’s a guarantee the site will crash and I’ll have to reload it to post comments. Also, why do new blogs not show up right away?? Up until just now the only blog I saw on the homepage was the Isles on but this was posted last night. This site is extremely frustrating
