They cant do a full tear down while not having their 1sts, it doesn’t make sense.

You can trade Nylander now, but I dont see why you would at this point.
over his past 2 seasons he is 90pts /82 and last season was 100 point pace. with a draft pick you pray for a prospect with 80 point potential.
And with him signed to what is a decent value contract, it should take a massive return to move him.

Its Rielly for sure, move him yesterday.

Once you know if AM is going to sign again, then you decide.

They tried to sign him and then tried to trade him, Marner blocked both…nothing you can do. they missed the window before his ntc kicked in to Move him for a better return. I doubt most teams would have traded him then, but I suppose some would have. but they dont get nearly the attention the Leafs do.
