Participantunderwhelming. but traded (most) of the UFAs.
I assume Tre is not willing to wave the white flag and declare failure, im sure he thinks the Leafs could be turned around with some savvy moves, unfortunately he is not the one to be able to do it…imo
hopefully Berube and Tre are let go as soon as the season is over

ParticipantTre is going to trade Mcmann right?
right????

Participantwould be nice to snag a 2026 First.
Sounds like the Leads will Trade Mcmann (good) instead of signing him
For OEL, the Leafs demanded a 1st-rounder, a 2nd-rounder, and a prospect from Edmonton
not great since Edm doesnt have 2026/27 1stssenstrolltwo
ParticipantIm sure Tre will trade it away next season for another 3rd liner
Tre will trade 1 loonie for 3 quarters because 3 is more than 1
Yikes, Parayko declined to waive to go to Buffalo, (can’t blame him). Sucks for Buffalo fans. Might as well grab OEL for slightly more;-)
Why do teams announce trades when it still requires a player to waive?!?!
Sounds like they need one OEL Stat!

ParticipantGood start, Leafs get a 1st for those that like to jerk it to 1sts

ParticipantLeefs..so leefy
what Brad Treliving has built is simply not good enough. That he’s being lapped by a Pittsburgh retool built off the scrap heap by the guy he replaced is an extremely bad look
we didnt know how good (bad) we had it. It could be a long time before we see a Leafs team that has a run like the Last 10 seasons. just massively wasted opportunity

ParticipantNo, they need that point so Boston’s pick is up in the teens … and not in the single digits.
For me, I’d rather see them give up the 2026 1st which is protected as oppose to an unprotected pick in 2027.what a stupid team. cant even trade picks properly. always bring the the worst case scenarios
senstrolltwo
Participantidiot Leafs, you are supposed to lose without getting the stupid point
senstrolltwo
ParticipantMcmann, Laughton and OEL scratched.

ParticipantTall defense in high demand, they dont have to be good, just tall

Participant4 or 5 1st rounders? WTF. BAHAHAHA!
Someone is not living in reality as we all know.
Leafs arent trading Matthews or Nylander.
If they move OEL, they could get a 1st for him.
McMann, Laughton, Domi, Macielli…are probably going to get 2nd’s, 3rd’s and 4th’s….unless someone is really desperate and stupid. (Maybe Tre is trading with himself?)thats what I was thinking, they could probably squeeze one 1st out of someone. but doubt much more.
Tre way overpaid for Carlo and Laughton, now he will sell at a big loss. if he even trades them.senstrolltwo
ParticipantAmen to that.
Oilers fans convinced their team is leaps and bounds better than the Leafs and have been for years is funny to me. They play in arguably the weakest division in the league and we are seeing it yet again. Imagine if they played in they and the Leafs had flipped divisions years ago? Would we have seen them make 2 cup finals and the Leafs lack of playoff success been the same or might the Leafs have been the ones to have gone on deep playoff runs and the Oilers to have been the ones to have struggled to make it into the 2nd round year over year?
We will never know but you can’t gloss over the fact playing in a weaker division is a huge advantage.
Hey same for the Jays, love the AL east (barf)
I dont think the Leafs win if they were in a different div. but who knows. 2021-22 Leafs were the best version of the AM/mm/jt/wn leafs, and its been going down ever since.
