I realize that lol. I’m alone. It’s mostly what choice do I have. I love this team. I’m not an idiot to know he hasn’t been great. I just think this new era he’s approaching is different than the pressure of being a contender…when in reality they really never were. It took me awhile to get there but I’m there now

I’m giving him a clean slate basically

As far as the scoring, I think Sullivan was ok trying to win low scoring games and having them just be better defensively overall, as a team. They were doing that. Until they weren’t

I like the way Mika and miller have played since Perrault came. I think it’s a good thing heading into next year. The 3rd line has some promise. It’s the second line that will need an extreme makeover. You guys just can’t seem embrace Mika anymore, and obviously Miller will never be liked apparently. But they have chemistry, all 3 of them. Perrault needs more time and it will be a legit top 6 line

Letting JD go was the biggest mistake they made. Unfortunately JDs heart is big and didn’t want Gorton to go down by himself

Drury and Sullivan will get fired together imo. If that happens.

Drury definitely has no more rope I’ll give ya that. But they’re both getting at least two more years imo

Ok so it has no bearing on the results we’re seeing since new years. Unbelievable. Martin leaves beach ball size rebounds and makes the defense look horrific for one thing. Quick is an old man. Schneider is clearly not a 1D. Those are indeed factors in this demise this year. The stats were in their favor before shesty at the very least. Fox maybe they stemmed the tide a little bit

But they were playing better this year. At home yea idk wtf was going on. They were playing way better than last year overall, mostly defensively. Shesty went down and it deflated them, you could see it that game

Well you don’t want to hear this either, but you can’t lose your best defenseman and goalie for extended periods of time. I think they planned on making the playoffs at least, but shit happens. Find a team where that didn’t kill their season. Literally the two guys who they couldn’t lose. They were doing pretty much doing everything right but score consistently. They were winning road games like nobody’s business

Your inability to let anything go is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen on the internet. It’s nuts

Again, Buch and Kakko combined have less goals then Mika. Let it gooooo. They will make up for the picks in due time, just give it time for gods sake.

I want to talk hockey but all we do is rehearse shit from half a decade ago. It’s so frustrating

A lot of Drurys decisions were cap related. And a lot of the problems stemmed from the Covid year. The cap stagnant really messed them up. It’s not an excuse it’s just fact. I don’t think Drury handled that well, to be fair to the haters. But he was under alot of pressure. Panarin 11 million really put them in a corner and snowballed into a mess pretty much

I just think now it’s different set of circumstances where the can be a lot less aggressive and spend more wisely. Dolan is a bigger problem than Drury imo. And there is nothing we can do about that, but I think Dolan has understood to back off some. Kind of like he did with the Knicks

I’m not trying to fight. I just want talk rangers and how to get better. They needed to do this as hard as it is to watch, last year included

Trocheck half retained is optimal, as NYR has said. It will not kill them at all on the cap. They have more than enough space and very little options to spend it on. I do puck pedia everyday and I can’t spend it nearly to the max. Like ever

Look at teams like Minnesota, Detroit, Avs

    -Drury, Girard and a 1st

-Stramel, maybe Middleton or Brodin and a first

-Kasper, maybe axel-pellika? Spelling, and a first

    For trocheck (50%)

And I’m not being a doosh at all, but I think Drury is very likely to trade for Jack if they talk about either Trocheck or Panarin

    McKinnon
    Nelson
    Trocheck

    Is lethal
