Go Jays!Living rent free in both your heads. The Jays were saved by Springer from the typical Game 7 disaster that haunts Toronto teams. Good for him. Great for the Jays. They overachieved this year and worked their way to the World Series. But now they play a team that would have to throw their season away to lose. The Dodgers are stacked. Ohtani is their #4 pitcher at this point. It’s going to be a miracle to beat the Dodgers. Their pitching is dominant top to bottom and they have the best player of a century. Oh, and of course, in typical Toronto sports fashion, they have a former Blue Jay, Teoscar Hernández, who will probably beat the brakes off them because that’s how Toronto teams roll. I’m sure there will be a lot of butt hurt fans that Ohtani is rolling into town, still angry he didn’t sign in Toronto, but he didn’t even have to play well to beat the Brewers. And they still swept the Brewers. Jays lost 3 games to the Mariners and narrowly got out of Game 7. Dodgers shouldn’t have much trouble at all.
As before, I’d be happy to see the Jays overcome the odds but this is probably where their run ends.
Marner, 2 more assists, beat the Hurricanes 4-1 with their top goalie injured, Vegas #1 team in the NHL, off to a white hot start.

He played a great game last night, I’m hoping the Mariners have a better game tonight and pull it off, finally playing in a World Series.
The “team of destiny” seems to be Seattle but no matter who wins, the Dodgers are going to win the World Series. They’re stacked and basically unstoppable.

Nylander has been playing like shit for most of this young season to the point where Berube called him out. His defense is horrible and cost them the game in OT. He won’t be leading the league in scoring for very long and his offense always comes at a cost. The cost is lazy play, defensive ineptitude and zero physical play.
Nylander did nothing to stand up for his team. Same can be said for Carlo, a big fucking pylon.

Sigh, I hope this is because they are close to trading that little midget soon.
Jarnkrok is not a good playoff player and should be traded but benching him after his early season effort is just stupid considering the other pylons they could take out of the line-up, Robertson included.
That was less than ideal. I don’t ever want to see Little pitch again.
