Leafs have $1.9m in cap space, I think the plan was to get it for TDL. But the leafs really dont really have any picks of huge value….so we’ll see how that works out.

Another dumbass take. Berube loved Marner. If anybody didn’t fit the mold for Berube, it was Tavares and Nylander, both huge defensive liabilities who suck at back checking and can’t be trusted defensively nor kill penalties. Berube distrusted Marner so much that Marner led the team in playoff ice time among all forwards at 5v5, PK, PP and total ice time.
