I feel that our unseen hero might be Laughton. He’s been around the puck and has played doggedly throughout the playoffs. He hasn’t been rewarded, so the hockey Gods may grant the opportunity to do the unthinkable and dispatch Florida in game 7. -PrinceLH

    Jarnkrok or OEL.

Marner GWG, Matthews GWG, Knies GWG.

Time for Tavares, Nylander or another top-six forward to win a game. Or…*gasp* a bottom-six player score a goal.

Or a defenseman. Rielly? Wake up time.

Somebody new has to step up in Game 7.

Woll already stole a game, can’t expect him to pitch another SO.

    Brick Woll.

Best gift the Panthers gave the Leafs was knocking Stolarz out.

Anybody who thinks the crowd, the atmosphere and home ice doesn’t mean anything needs to watch and learn a thing about the giant boost this Winnipeg crowd creates for their team. People absolutely rocking from the puck drop, total whiteout, costumes, chanting, passion, everybody on their feet, cheering, yelling, participating all game long.

The way Winnipeg is playing tonight, outshooting Dallas 32-15 so far in the 3rd period, up 3-0, is partly connected to how they feel at home. You can clearly see their play drop off on the road, but at home, they get a giant boost from the REAL fans in the stands. Dallas DOES NOT want to have to come back here for a Game 7.

Hellebuyck, another home shutout. It’s a shame he sucks though.

The Leafs home atmosphere is an absolute disgrace compared to the level of passion you see during Winnipeg and also Edmonton games in dire situations where they are behind in the series 3-1 or 2-0.

Home ice should be an advantage and the fans at the Leafs game had no reason to stay, but they were mute by comparison from puck drop onward.

Leafs ownership has to make a massive change in how their fans create a positive, helpful environment for their players.

Luke Schenn should still play for the Leafs by the way. Another idiot move by Leafs management.

I’d rather have Nick Ehlers and Brock Boeser for the same money. They may not have the numbers, but they have some Jam. -PrinceLH

Lay off the safe injection sites.

Ehlers has 7 career playoff goals in 43 games. Boeser is a -25 pylon. Both soft as baby shit.

How dafuq are you EVER going to trade Rielly?!? He’s overpaid, terrible, has a million more years left and, if that’s not enough, he has trade protection.

I can’t take anyone seriously that suggests trading Rielly. -Whipper

Everybody can be traded. Just a matter of negotiation. Worse contracts have been moved before.

Okay, I’ll bite. What are you comfortable with for his next contract? -Whipper

    13.5 x 8.

    Rielly traded. Tavares 5 x 3 MAX. Knies 7 x 4.

Improve the bottom six. Add a PP QB.

    Hire Tortz.

Explore trading Matthews when he has a rebound season.

Trade Marner in the future if necessary but can’t let him walk as a UFA.

Everything they do should be to recover assets or improve incrementally.
