I heard marner is being used as a center in vegas?

The Leafs just hung with a team that is head and shoulders above every team in the league, and came out on top. The Avs are a team that REGULARLY absolutely shits on above average team. And the Leafs didn’t look out of place, AT ALL!
The way this team is playing right now is the way Cup winning teams play. Are they going to? Probably not. 31 teams are going to fail at that this year. You have to have a lot of things go your way to win a cup, (like your #1 goalie not taking a head shot). Are there still some changes that can be made to improve the team? Of course. But we have a lot of the needed pieces.

Holy shit, this Avs team is stacked. I haven’t seen them play much this year, but they looked incredible in the first… and the Leafs are hanging with them. Every single player has stepped up tonight and played hard all night. I’m watching on delay with 5 left in the second, so they may have already fallen apart, but so far I’m LOVING what I’m seeing.
So Toronto is sitting 1P behind Washington for the final wildcard spot and they have a 1 game advantage 👍
Unfortunately, that game in hand is against the head-and-shoulders-above-every-other-team Avs. I still believe. If anything, Monday will be a minor speed bump.
