Where would they be if Marner didn’t bail them out last game? Wouldn’t even be playing for a medal. Who won the game 1v3? Wasn’t Mac. Or Crosby. Or even McDavid. It was Marner.

Where was Marchand vs. Finland? 0 points. Stone? 0 points. Bennett? 0 points. They must all suck balls too, right? Wrong again retard. A lot more goes into winning than just GWG elimination game OT goals like Marner scored.

Holy fuck, I literally said Marner was a great 3v3 player, your ignorance knows no bounds. But I don’t give AF about 3v3 as the Leafs don’t ever play it. If the Olympics continue to have 3v3 OT, hell yeah, I take Mitch on my team every time, but I’m happy the Leafs didn’t overpay for a guy that CONTINUES to disappear in big games. He had ONE great pass today. Oh, he’s good defensively, you say? Matthews had more good defensive plays when it mattered.

Now, my Captain has learned what it takes to win in clutch situations. This will help his career.

Well, would you look at that. HUGE semi-final game, everything on the line, win or go home, and our boy Mitchy has two shots on goal and is a ghost all game. $12M well spent. I’m so glad he rejected whatever the Leafs were offering.

Congrats, Mitch, you’re an amazing 3v3 player. Too bad the NHL is never 3v3 when it matters.

Sounds like the Leafs could of traded McMann prior to the Olympic freeze

Hope they do get that 1st rnd pck for him and a prospect.

A first round pick is likely a longshot. A first and a prospect is a complete pipe dream.

Hopefully, they get a first from a desperate team, and then he returns to the Leafs July 1st.

Yes because overspending on UFAs always solves the Leafs problems, every, single, time. Like Tavares. Leafs signed him from Long Island and won so many Stanley Cups, his cap hit didn’t matter anymore.

The UFA class for next year won’t solve a fucking thing for this broken team.

Wait, so the Dodgers overspending on everything that moves is a brilliant strategy, and the Jays are fucking retards for not doing the same.

But the Leafs overspending never works and they’re retarded for trying it. Got it.

Before you move the goalposts, yes, I realize the cap in the NHL is different from whatever bullshit “cap” MLB has.

The reality is, the Leafs have to overpay to get UFAs to come to Canada so those players have the privilege of being robbed by our dumbass government to support gender rainbow education in Malawi, taking guns away from lawful owners, or whatever the next dumb fuck program is. So, we better hope whoever we bring in can light a fire under some of our less motivated players. We finally have the cap space, use it.

I agree the leafs are not taking it down to the studs at all and probably wont finish in the bottom 5. Matthews and Nylander are not going anywhere, and if they had to go, teams wouldnt offer much in return and the amount of teams that could take on their contracts are very limited – these are not in season trades and they simply are not happening.
The Leafs may get a 1st for McMann and OEL, but not getting a 1st for anyone else that would be trade bait (Domi, Laughton, marcelli)
This isnt a video game, its reality. Leafs arent doing a full rebuild and getting 10 1st rounders LOL

Leafs have $20M+ next year. Throw a bunch of cash to pry Raddysh out of Tampa, and see who you can find to fill a top 6 winger role. Rebuild complete.

McKenna can throw knuckles, broke a guys jaw with two punches. Stock value just went up.

Definitely going first overall in the prison league. Which sexual deviant has the first overall pick, Diddy, or Epstein?

    He’ll get community service.

    Retarded verbal diarrhea

Yes, let’s trade OEL and then spend the next two seasons wishing we had a player like him.

Literally, every player is one hit away from retirement. Leafs have $22M to play with next season and only a few holes to plug.

The Leafs are actually the 7th oldest team in the league. You know who’s older? The Avs. Should probably blow that team up too, eh?

If you are blown away with a package for OEL, trade him. Otherwise they will be looking a similar D in the off season not sure they’ll find one as cheap.

The Leafs arent going scorched earth, they dont have their own 1st this year and next (thanks to horrible trades by Tre again). Heck, if they go .500 in the 6 games prior to the deadline I think they only trade Mcmann.

    But we’ll see.

I agree, keep OEL. Very serviceable dman at a VERY manageable cap hit for the next two years. Is there a better dman at that cap hit in the entire league?!? The D is set up pretty good for the next few years, re-sign Stecher and maybe Tanev gets healthy.

Like you say, this won’t be a full rebuild. Tendies are nice, (could move Stollie IMO), D is fine, they just need to get a better winger for Matty and one other middle six piece and the team is right back in the mix.

Should be doubt shifting McMann, Roy, Laughton, Jarnkrok, Carlo, OEL; get all of their value as sky high as possible. The big fish might go early which will leave desperate playoff pretenders left to scramble to get something for a higher price.

Everybody should be moved and all the draft picks and prospects coming back will help the rebuild.

Then trade Nylander and Matthews at the draft in 2027. There will be nobody left to play with so Rielly and Tavares will take a hike too.

    Retards gonna retard.

But, every Jarnkrok shift is a doubt shift, because I doubt anything positive is going to happen.

Take a seat and shut the fuck up you retard, nobody cares about your shitty opinions.

    JT scores last night
    Maccelli scores 2
    Leafs PP at 100%
    Stollie with a great game
Leafs beat the Oilers in Edmonton to win 3 in a row on a west coast swing.

You probably cried yourself to sleep cuddling your Marner poster.

You are by far the king of the retards for just about everything you post here you little incel bitch boy.

I will not allow ANY Mitch “The Great” Marner slander on this forum. He’s has put up a staggering *checks notes* 8 points in his last 10 games on a DOMINANT (3-5-2 in last 10) Vegas team. He is on pace for a historic (…ly terrible) season by his standards, the likes of which we haven’t’ seen since the 17-18 season. $12M well spent.
