I only caught the last 10 mins of the game.
Better results, but was dicey at the end.Ill give 10 games for them to gel a bit before really trying to analyze, but the 2nd line is a problem.
There are a LOT of new faces, so the team will need a bit to gel.
When I heard that they were going to put McKenna with JT and Willy I was not a fan, 91/88 routinely get their faces caved in on D, and 92 isn’t a great defender either. Gotta split that line up, 92 will eventually find himself on 34s line.
Also, the new goal horn is ATROCIOUS!

2nd line can’t defend at all. Same reason they lost to Florida in the playoffs.

pain in the arse, yes.This site is broken. I cannot view any posts newer than late august. I have tried logging out, clearing cookies, and registering a new account. Nothing works.
Leafs fans deserve a proper forum to talk shop and this site isn’t it. And HockeyBuzz is now HockeySlop. Buzz is all slop and this site is just for 5 or 6 teams and the others are ignored. And the forums are just Uggie and AA taking shots at each other using 50 alts.

Game 2: Leafs 2 Islanders 1
The Leafs top 2 lines looked sluggish. Stolarz was on his game and held them in. Cowan may have been the best forward out there tonight, with a goal and an assist. The Defense looked decent. Rielly and Raddysh looked more comfortable tonight. Austin and Willy were no-shows. They were fortunate to get the win. The Islanders weren’t good, except Sorokin.
Time to rest up and get some practice time in when they get the Senators on Saturday.
One last observation. The Prime panel needs to lose the DEI hire in the middle. Pronger was good; the other 2, not so much.
