Bob for 3 years is the absolute max and is a 50/50 risk. 90th out of 98 goalies last year in goals allowed above expected is not good.
OK, now that Bobrovsky is in the fold, the Leafs need to beef up on the bottom 6. Boon Jenner for 3C should be the next domino. Also make the trade for Rielly and backfill with a better, tougher defenseman, in free agency. It’s time to get tougher to take on the Panthers, who now are the most goonish team in recent history. The Atlantic is going to be a battlefield, every night.

Not really, that’s what they’re projected to make. A discount is possible for certain players but that’s market value unless they get a stupid offer like Byram got from Chicago. Horrible contract.
