ParticipantElbows (Gramps 28 here) over at Blackshawks Buzz posted this video there. Don’t know who this host is, but he’s excited about Kantserov’s future. He does a pretty good job breaking down some tape and analyzing his overall play. He thinks Roman will be with the big club next year and will skip Rockford. At the end he is almost salivating about the possibility of Kantserov and Frondell on Bedard’s wings next year.

ParticipantHawks win and Florida loses. That 5 losses out of 6 for the Panthers. Both Hawks 1st’s may be in the middle of the round at this rate.

ParticipantThanks for the article Coach. Another good write up. It’s nice to see lower round picks make an impact at the NHL level. Let’s hope some of the several 3rd and 4th round picks in the system will be able to contribute down the road.
Another point about Kaiser is his mentoring of Levshunov. Those two seem to have hit it off both on and off the ice. I think it’s a sign of good leadership by Kaiser stepping up and and taking an active role in helping Lev along.boilermaker
ParticipantI added a NHL Central Scouting report on 2026 draft prospects here:

ParticipantHere’s an early season look from NHL Central Scouting on 2026 prospects. They list candidates not in order of selection, but ranked by which round they are projected to go in. They have 27 “A” ratings meaning 1st round picks and 48 “B” – 2nd round selections. So according to them there will be some 2nd round quality available deep into the 3rd round.

He replied that they don’t allow it because on some previous site it became abused.Muchas gracias.

ParticipantHere’s a link to a Tab Bamford article. Included are a lot of good video clips from the TNT crew – comments from Biz during intermission, post game interview interview with Nazar and Bedard to name a couple.

ParticipantFrenchy has a good summary of last night’s win on the home page.

ParticipantThanks Coach for the recap. Yes, an ugly win, but I’ll take it. It makes up for the lost points from the BOS and MTL games. SOG 14 to 23 against, the top forward threats shut down, but the depth pieces come through.
I read elsewhere about Blashill’s thought about the 11F and 7D lineup. He could use 2RD, Rinzel and Lev, on the PP and have 2 separate RD, Murphy and Crevier, on the PK. He could also spread the minutes among 7D, give all the young players some experience and lessen the war and tear as the season goes on. Also, it looks like Lafferty is in the dog house already (or maybe he is injured?). He and Reichel are sitting due to the 7D lineup.
