ParticipantThat one stung a bit, Wild are a good team but the Leafs didn’t play a full 60 at all and paid the price.
Feels like the Detroit game is a big one and they need points, the Atlantic is still so tight it’s crazy.
The Atlantic is also the toughest division in hockey top to bottom really, I mean look at the Pacific compared to the Atlantic.
The Oilers with 2 more points than the Leafs in one more game and they are sitting in 2nd in the Pacific, San Jose in 3rd and wouldn’t even be in a playoff spot in the Atlantic.
Sucks to be in the Atlantic right now, knowing who ever your team matches up against in the 1st round is going to be a tough draw.
It’s surprising that more teams from the Western Conference haven’t won the cup lately, they should almost all have had an easy path to get to the finals than those coming out of the East.

ParticipantBichette to the Mets, 3yr $42M per. Insane for a guy who is below average defensively. But SUCKS to see him go.
I think the team we have now is the team we’ll have on opening night. What little remains is going to be priced WAY too high.
Agreed it was an overpay by the Mets, and I don’t subscribe to the theory that the Jays are doomed and can’t beat the Dodgers without Bo. They made it to the WS without him and someone else can step up at any time.
Dodgers are stacked for sure but nobody expected the Blue Jays to have the run they did this year, maybe next year it’ll be a team in the NL who goes on a tear and beats the big bad Dodgers. We can hope!
The pressure on the Dodgers to win again is immense now, going out and signing the most expensive / highly coveted guys tends to do that. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out, especially if they falter at any point in the season.

Oh no the village idiot is certain it was.a Leaf collapse. 🙄
Let’s not overlook the non call on Hill for blatantly interfering with Laughton with under 2 min left.
The NHL just loves Vegas though.

ParticipantHow did Asian Hill not get an interference penalty? Lol

ParticipantWow ballsy challenge and Leafa won ir.
Now make ir mean something.

ParticipantFor fuck sakes.
That’s what happens when you sit back and stop attacking entirely.
Sigh.

ParticipantTime for AM34 to put this to bed.
However I’ll take anyone in a Leaf jersey.

<p class=”userway-s7-active” style=”font-family: Arial, serif !important; transition: all;” data-userway-s7-styled=”true”>Terrible non call.
<p class=”userway-s7-active” style=”font-family: Arial, serif !important; transition: all;” data-userway-s7-styled=”true”>Nah, he was WAY out of his crease, and it was “under” his pad for a millisecond.
Disagree.
Your can’t push the goalie with your stick regardless of where he is preventing him from being able to atept to make a save. We’ve seen goalie interference called for less outside the crease.

ParticipantLeafs need a whistle. Badly.

Terrible non call because the ref failed to blow the play dead when it was under Woll’s pad.
