If drury takes bad contacts for picks, retains money on trades etc, it’ll show me he’s at least somewhat serious about doing this the right way.
This won’t be a proper tear down either. Drury has already said it’s going to be a retool, which means he’s going to add veteran players with some of the picks and prospects he acquires and we’ll be having this conversation again in 2 years when hopefully he’s finally fired.
His last draft he drafted Laf (consensus) Cuylle Schneider Berard Rempe. I’d call that a solid draft.
Drury was buying 2 weeks ago. At least still attempting to buy. He offered Othmann and a 2nd for Sherwood.

I hate Wilson. With that being said, the size difference of the 2 made a difference as to where the contact was, Wilson kept the elbow tucked, didn’t extend through the head even though the principal point of contact was the head.
I think the principal point being the head was all about the height difference and not about Wilson targeting the head.
I don’t want to call it a “good hit” but it wasn’t a dirty one. No fine, no suspension IMO.
