TJ, stop making a fool of yourself.
I said Greentree is who I wanted and that’s a good pickup. Only getting a 3rd on top is a disgrace. Like others have said, releasing the letter, scratching him etc diminished the return. Same way he got nothing for Kakko Kreider and Trouba bc he made it known he wanted them gone regardless, kinda hard to negotiate when you show your hand.
Drury is a clown and it once again showed. He has no idea what he’s doing in a trade, he gets smoked 9/10.
I don’t believe the news that this was the only place he’d waive when all those rumors came out saying his preferred destination was to stay on the East Coast and FLA being his #1 choice. BS leaked to the Post by drury to save face.

If the rumors are true, Wright + picks I would sign for if one of those picks was a 1st.
I think a trade with FLA, EDM, COL, MINN would be worst case scenario for us bc of how much depth they lack in picks/prospects.
