i try to act like i’m constantly on my phone when i have to go out there and he’s peering out his storm door looking for somebody, anybody to talk to.
he’s in one of the pictures in the newspaper from our fires. he is actually standing there talking to the firefighters while they try to do their job in the picture.

of course the odds are stacked against him, but it could still happen.
You will see one more year out of him, cause he has one year left to his contract.
yeah, the whole point is to give him one last chance to show what he can do when healthy, because he’s barely played in the last couple of years… it would be silly not to give him that chance if you want to trade him or potentially see him have success with the team, whether it’s at center or on the wing.

indeed, very refreshing to see compared to the Galchenyuk/Kostityns era, where you could tell they were distracted by a whole bunch of other stuff outside the ice, as opposed to this group that seems to have a great vibe but are also focused on the task at hand.
