Injuries to starters is a piss poor excuse when starting pitching is not the problem so far. The offense has disappeared and the bullpen is blowing games.
Yes, it’s only been a few games but the early signs are not good. They’re losing games to terrible teams. And the Dodgers, the team they’d have to beat in the end, destroyed them.
The starters will get healthy and the offense will find itself but without serious upgrades in the bullpen all the rest will be a waste.

Also, from Denver, there is an unsigned UFA prospect named Kent Anderson. He is 6’3″, 205 and a RHD. Not an offensive D at all, he is a pure defensive D-man but might be worth an ELC to add to the shallow prospect pool the Leafs currently have on the right side on the blueline.
