BlockedWithout trading ZiB Fox and Miller, the “core” will remain the same.
They basically can’t trade those guys. They can trade Trocheck for a huge haul however. Schneider has some value for some reason. That plus the Panarin and other ufas would/should do more than enough to be cautiously excited about
I think teams view Schneider as middle par guy and not a top pair guy. That JD fist pump tho, it hasn’t aged very well. He stinks right now, but he is overmatched with Fox being out. Second pair he’s fine. Ferraro and a 3rd for Schneider, as long as they re-sign Ferraro, isn’t a bad deal. Pretty much like the Kakko trade but maybe a little less painful to accept

BlockedVery few things this year have been positive, but Robertson is definitely one of them. He and Laba, who’s tailed off recently, should be part of the solution moving forward. Robertson should be on the PP without Fox, he has an offensive game no one really has other then Fox back there. Gavrikov is playing too much as it is so give him rest on the PPs

BlockedI really like this Dallas prospect Hemming. He was the pick before EJ Emery

BlockedBelchetz sounds like some sort of ass condition

BlockedThat trade/rumor was squashed. No one wants Laf. They need to permanently move him to LW and try that. His natural side and has yet to play there at all really. This probably ruined him more than anything. This was the problem having Kreider and Panarin for so long because he had play RW

BlockedOk that’s good then if that happen because they already have the extra first this season. Now we got a 3rd back for Soucy. Isles fans seems pissed about it
I feel like he will do the right thing here, but as you guys have said can they develop these kids/picks correctly. We won’t know for awhile obviously which is why I keep saying he isn’t getting fired anytime soon. Or else it would’ve happen already

BlockedIf by the end of this TDL he has
2 firsts this year draft
2 firsts next year draft
2 firsts in the ‘28 draftIt would be a homerun. Requires trading Trocheck which I’m not sure is a guarantee. Panarin definitely gets one of those tho.
Im not sure what is considered the best draft where teams insist on keeping that year

BlockedWeird it took all day for this to be official.
I saw someone going gaga over Chase Reid. And Tynan Lawrence. So it appears the top 5 will be a pretty good chance wed get a real promising player. Wins are the enemy tho, never thought I’d say that

BlockedPerrault is definitely something to be excited about.

BlockedAll the sudden I can’t read it now. But it didn’t really talk about what they would trade or for what, more or less just general targets to go after with those trades.
IMO once they trade Panarin they will immediately hone in on players to replace him for next season. Dorofeyev is a possibility because Vegas cap can’t afford him. The summer will be pretty crazy I have a feeling

Blockedhttps://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6997376/2026/01/26/new-york-rangers-trade-retool-targets/
Idk if anyone can read this, but it lays out some players to go after.
Dorofeyev is my #1. It’s a retool not a rebuild so he would make sense. That kid can shoot the puck
Also, going after one year left guys is a great strategy, and then flip them at the TDL next year. Ie- Mangipane and Colton would be perfect for that. Kind of like Soucy, now, when they got him last year. That’s how you amass draft picks. Thats why all this cap space is a good thing

BlockedI think it’s best to trade Panarin to a team he’ll extend with to maximize the return. I just wish it would happen like yesterday because with our luck he will get hurt before they get a chance to trade him. That would be a kick in the nads of epic proportions

BlockedI’ve seen this trade alot from redwing fans
Panarin
With retentionFor Max Plante, 1st and 2nd. Idk much about Plante but his numbers in college are very good. Smallish center but so is Brayden Point
