BlockedI agree but it’s taking so long to be announced which raises some spidey senses. I think it behooves them to get Tsyplakov off their cap.
Maybe not this necessarily, just in generalslimtj
BlockedIt’s probably a bigger deal, or with a few extra details, for it to take this long to happen.
Remember Vatrano. That’s where he does well. Reclamation projects. No one barely heard of him until that trade and he was dynamite, and then he let him go 🤣🫣😥

BlockedA 3rd and Tsyplakov is what I’m saying, for Soucy 50% would be ideal. Isles will be buyers so it makes sense for them to do that
He was good last year it would simply be a reclamation project. Which is ok to try on players
slimtj
BlockedEverything makes you upset
Maybe Shabanov instead. If I remember the rangers were in on him
slimtj
BlockedRangers should retain on Soucy because they really only have 3 players to trade who they can do it with. Panarin Soucy and Trocheck. So that might make it a 3rd and Tsyplakov.
I’d be pretty surprised if isn’t Tsyplakov. Everyone is speculating on it. He would immediately replace Blidh

BlockedIt might be Tsyplakov. Who I’d take a stab at. He had a good year last year. Big winger
And Rick lighten up

BlockedDo we really give a frank where these guys go? I know it will give you guys something else to rant and rave about for a decade tho 😆

BlockedIf he gets a draft board like this
1st rders this year ‘26 – ours and Canes or stars. I’m not sure which one they get
Two 1st rders next year ‘27 – ours and one other team
Two 1st rders in ‘28 – ours and one other team
Thats 6 first rders spread out over 3 years, would be a good start. Maybe get a couple other picks and a prospect or two NHL ready or not doesn’t really matter to me.
We’re on the same as far as what to do most of the time

BlockedMy prediction is
For either one, Trocheck or Panarin, to the Avs for Drury, Colton and a first rder. Then he will flip Colton for something. And it will drive you guys bonkers 😂😬🤣

BlockedBrukie these are Dolans words. Not mine. He’s going to be patient. I don’t know to tell you other than he’s the owner and can do whatever he wants. This is how sport teams work
slimtj
BlockedWhat do you guys think of Cerrato? Canes prospect. They seem to draft very well. I see a lot of him, Kotkaniemi and a first for Trocheck trades. Seems reasonable. We can afford Kotkaniemi as a bottom 6 guy. Maybe move Laba to 4C and trade Carrick too

BlockedI’d have traded Fox long ago, you know that. Too late now. Gavrikov is a great pick up it just isn’t showing right now. They’re a good pair
slimtj
BlockedYurov is untouchable I think. Puckpedia guys go bonkers if you ask for him. That’s why I bring up Stramel. I don’t know why you’re so against him. If he’s numbers went down in his 4th year I’d be worried, but they’ve gone up. He’s blowing past last years numbers. Big centers don’t grow on trees.

BlockedBtw, even Jimmy can’t stand to talk to me anymore 🤣I think he’s done with Drury too. I’m faithful I guess

BlockedIt’s always one thing that holds them back. The old Hank era teams it was killer instinct, the latest era was the leadership sucked. And kids not developing was definitely a big part of it. In theory playing the kids on a 3rd line should’ve worked but for some reason it just never really popped (laf and Kakko specifically). They both are decent players but no where even close to the expectations. Drury gets too much blame for that imo. The previous scouting was worse than it is now. It’s a shame Chytil kept getting hurt because he was the best of the bunch as far as game changing ability. I hope he does well but I worry he may have to retire too soon. How does Vancouver commit to him after this deal
