Anyone else in disbelief that clown is part of Team USA brain trust as assistant GM?
Almost feel a bit dirty rooting for USA with Quinn, Sully, ( he has already checked out) and Mr Incompetent leading the charge.

If your getting rid of Panarin and Tro .. what does it matter get rid of all of them. There is literally no skater that’s irreplaceable. Even though I like Cuylle and Laba.. Robertson has much improved too. Nobody is untouchable.

Ah Nemeth..the gift that keeps on giving. God Drury is the worst..
If you listen to JT after the game ..( my word is he disinterested. he has no answers for why this team is not playing well.. he’s looking forward to the Olympics after his “ I don’t know yeah I literally dont know” comments
on the teams performance. (Oh captain my captain) .. if that’s not inspirational.
Between Drury and JT man I’ve never been more confident that we are screwed for the foreseeable future.

Think it’s a given will be top 5. If it wasn’t for Quick it would be 5-0 now.At least they are playing hard against a top team in East.
Please get a haul for Trocheck. But I’m not holding my breath. Need to have at least 3 #1 and 2 top prospects before deadline. Already have the 2 #1 and one prospect. Not asking for much…

Unfortunately this is how I expect the games to go in the near future.
Without Panarin driving the play up the ice and the non existent transition game from our very slow and average D. Expect low scoring games. Hell they were putrid with him somehow.
Btw interesting Panarin now saying the Rangers never really offered him a new contract upon him speaking in LA. Belief is he wanted Kings or even go back to Russia. Not sure I believe that.

I was talking more of this current iteration of the team. But yeah I get it. Drury does seem to fire a lot of people yet keep his job.
Also interesting is the fact that the supposed mutiny on Drury last year started with Panarin ..involving Trouba, Kreider. Notice who are all gone. Guess we should brush up more on the amateurs and draft at least the next 3 years anyway. There’s no easy retool. Not with this group.

It was funny when the trade came through I kept refreshing the page to see what other pieces we got. I’m like must be our WI-FI conking out because I only see Greentree and a 3rd.

Ortmeyer , Tanner Glass..talk about world class skill. What could go wrong with them evaluating talent. I think that’s why fans don’t trust the organization, it’s like how many awful moves that completely backfire do you get? There is no accountability within the organization. Nobody loses their job ..hell Lafreniere gives the puck away every game softly skates back into the zone doesn’t pick up his guy and Boom it’s in the back of the net. What happens? NOTHiNG! Doesn’t miss a shift doesn’t get benched. It’s the Ranger way..

But do you trust Rangers management to do the right thing? They haven’t exactly instilled confidence in the fan base.

It will be 5 years before we sniff the playoffs again.. and if the GM in this case stands for (General Mismanager) is still here it could be much longer!
You think Yzerman trades a stud winger for a prospect and a 3rd conditional..No way! Imagine in a few years the Bruins trading Pastrnak away for this return even if he also has a NMC. Bruin fans would be out of their mind!
Again Drury created this mess by A – telling the league he wasn’t going to resign him B- Benching the player C just causing all this chaos that never needed to be. He could have waited to the real deadline not said anything try to smooth over the relationship with the players and not created this unnecessary situation.

It’s funny that JT Miller last year only wanted the Rangers but yet Drury had to give up a first rd pick when he knew damn well this team was not playoff worthy. We sure could have used a Braeden Cootes or Carter Bear in our cupboard at pick 12 instead of frittering it away for JT..Drury had ALL the leverage but included the first rounder anyway. Giroux a UFA only wanted Florida yet what was the price? A first rd and 3rd and Owen Tippet? Yet when Panarin has the leverage ( which Drury didn’t help things by telling the whole league he would not be signing here) it’s Greentree and a 3 rd with half retention by the way. So yeah color me unimpressed with how all this went down.

After watching this crap show known as the New York Rangers ..I can’t take it anymore I’ve followed Jan from HB for years and it took until now for me to join the fray.. Been a Rangers fan for 45 plus years and watching this beloved team who has kicked me in the teeth on several occasions now has a clown GM making awful decision after decision. Paging Mr Buchnevich, JT Miller, trading Trouba for Vakkainen.. Kakko for Parssinen ( both guys Drury loved and have been hoping to acquire for years)But hey at least he told Ranger fans and subsequently the rest of the NHL in a letter to basically obsolve him of his misgivings. Forgetting he’s the architect of this Hindenburg known as the last 2 NYR seasons. You know who doesn’t send out letters? Winning organizations! How the hell can he be justified in being a GM! You know why he sent out a letter? Because finally the fans had enough of this crap product and started to boo him at MSG. well Mr Sensitive couldn’t stand that..does he face the media and talk in front of the camera ? Nope..he hides behind a carefully worded ( cough repeated letter) My god Drury is infuriating! He has never won a trade..he gives up more when he has all the leverage ie..JT.. I get Panarin having leverage but why did he have to trade him today? Not sure why the Kings and Panarin were a perfect match either? But if you are Drury you must come away with a first rd pick! Drury is the most incompetent GM ever! I also think it’s odd that reports say Washington had a huge offer for him? Then you hear the return and I’m sick to my stomach! I am in shock to be honest that this all the return. Really why wouldn’t Panarin want to go to the Caps or Lightning over the Kings? I thought he only wanted an East Coast team with legitimate Stanley Cup aspirations uhh last I looked the Kings do not fit the description? All I know is Drury has to be fired..The culprit who took this franchise on the cusp of the Stanley Cup Final to driving them into the ground and the sad state this team has become ( sorry tire fire). If you thought this team couldn’t score before? Wait till u watch them now without Bread driving the play.. The greatest free agent in Ranger history and one of their most prolific scorers now suiting up for the Kings ..I have no answers as to what this team can do to right this ship.. but I know the Captain of the Titanic ( our GM is NOT the answer! Btw why the hell didn’t we resign him 2 yr 11m doesn’t seem that out of touch when u think about the contracts we are giving Parssinen and Borgen ( 17 games as a Ranger )multi year deals.. What a dark day to be a Ranger fan.. followed by many unwatchable seasons. Don’t buy anymore tickets, merch or watch anymore maybe then Dolan will take notice?
