NY has two ex Canucks as captains. Bo and JTM while Canucks remain captain less. I think Canucks should have no captain at this point but I do find to ironic.haha

Don’t see any reason to trade Hronek who luvs Van & doesn’t want to leave. High character & quality players don’t grow on trees. He’s not a cup chaser he rather be a part of helping the rebuild & let what happens happen. He leads as captain material & won’t be surprised when it is announced.

Hyronek is the teams best defenceman. A mentor/linemate to Buium. He’s also their best trade chip should he agree to waive. I can’t see it happening.
I just hope it doesn’t take the Canucks as long as it took Anaheim, or it’s taking Chicago, to come out of this rebuild. But I’d be prepared for another four years of this if I were a betting man.
4-5 years. Need a few more strong drafts. Keep on accumulating quality draft capital. Work hard, W’s aren’t important.
I’d like to see Novotny have an impact early, it would just make that Quit Hughes trade sweeter. Kid has a decent shot!

Word is the Canucks want to work with EP40 to get him back on track. The Sedins offered him the same assistance a couple years ago and apparently he blew them off. Now their Presidents.
