Kampf suspended without pay for leaving the Marlies, freeing up $1.25M in buried cap space for the Leafs. Is the mutual termination finally happening?!?!

Sources say that the Hanifin deal is close.

Whos going for him, who does he pair with?

I’ll take things that will never happen for $1000, Alex.

Pretty solid win against a really solid team, especially considering being down Tanev and Benoit.

Can’t wait to be informed about what is wrong with this team.

Powerplay still absolutely sucks, they only had 12 shots after 2 periods, biggest players on the team are the softest (Roy, Myers, Carlo all soft as baby shit in the corners), Stolarz hasn’t been as sharp as he was last year and the bottom pairing of Mermis and Myers is pure AHL level shit.

    You’re welcome.

    1) PP also sucked last year at this point in the season with possibly the greatest player ever to lace them up.
    2) Shots do not win games, goals do. Also, Utah had 16 after 2, soooooo…
    3) Who cares if the big players are soft, because the small players are the pittbulls. Laughton was taking no shit around Stollie. I’m sure Roy and Carlo would throw down if required.
    4) Stollie is off a bit, but he’ll settle in. Goalies gonna goalie.
    5) Yes, our bottom pairing when Tanev and Benoit are out are pure AHL level shit… BECAUSE THEY’RE SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYING IN THE AHL!!! Nobody is under the impression that these guy are gonna be anything more than plugs.

You’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel with these critiques. You have a hard job when the team is 5-1 in the last six and the key three are poppin off. Ironically, 88 is on pace for 116 points this year.

Another good night to buy Leafs tix.

    Looking right now – Sec 115, Row 14 Golds – $162.68 a ticket.

    The market is dead.

Will be very interesting to see what happens at renewal time.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for almost 30 years, and prior to this year, never considered giving them up.

As of today, I do not think I will renew.

Do you primarily remain a season ticket holder as something of an investment? Make money off the big ticket games, then go to less popular ones as your schedule permits?

Bo is likely to be in the $175-200 range. Add another bat to Bo, Vlad and Springer and you’ve got the start of a dominant batting order especially if Barger/Clement continue to develop. Rogers will want to build on what they got this year. “Overpaying” him by $10M or so is less of a problem than taking a step back especially given recent history of coming in second when going after big FA signings.

I don’t think that’s going to be a problem any more, at all. Not only did this team make it to the WS and have great vibes, Gaus has been gassing the city up for years now, and Max is now doing the same.

seriously, this shit stain is in here now trying to find more people to argue with. I never saw him post once all season about the Jays, now hes here as some fucking expert.
But thats his schtick, not getting enough rage engagement elsewhere so has to expand and go find it.

anyways, Great season from the Jays. I have no need to dissect every detail of what went wrong in gm7 or gm6.
the worst part is, its over and I have to think about the Leafs now

Nice move by Bieber. Interesting to see how aggressive Rogers gets this offseason

Rogers better pony up the cash and make some huge splashes, cause you know the Dodgers are going to.

Looks like Laughton and Lorentz in for Jarny and Blais. N̶a̶t̶u̶r̶e̶ Leafs are healing.

All in all, terrible night, zero drive or passion, absolutely got their faces caved in for 40 minutes. But then a switch flipped, and now they know they can do that at any time. Come out with a better compete level from puck drop, and don’t put yourself in a 3-0 hole. Tomorrow night is a HUGE test.

    100%

10 minutes of play in the 2nd period, on home ice, ONE SHOT.

Berube is an average coach. He’s not going to get shit out of this team.

Your ability to produce the absolutely most boneheaded predictions is simply unparalleled.

But, I actually agree with you. The first two periods were a disgrace. I guess we’ll just run with the Oiler strategy of get behind, then run 34/88 every second shift.

What a fuckin beauty 88 is though, and hopefully 34 is turning a corner.

Where do people talk hockey now? Haven’t been here or hockey buzz in months. Did it just die off?

This website has been a mess with crashes, general slowness, and all the usual jackasses. But, it’s picking up and seems to be a decent spot for most of us. Hockeybuzz seems to be a mess of spam, bots, and Ek’s usual bullshit.

    Go Jays Go!! 👍👍👍

Nothing really broke their way today.
The lodged ball call is absurd.

How so? That is literally the rule, isn’t it?

Patience. A lot of injuries and new players learning the system. It takes time. The rest of the Atlantic is also starting slow. Once November rolls around, then teams start showing who they really are. Woll will be back soon as will Tanev. Once the team gets healthy, they’ll start making up those points lost.

Yeah, about that. Jeez, guy can’t catch a break. Hope he gets back soon, again.

“The dodgers are going to sweep the Jays”
    Uh oh.

Statistically, the Jays have dominated the mighty dodgers so far.

In fairness, I don’t think many people outside of the Jays clubhouse expected this. Still work to do, but what a wild series.
