Just for shits and giggles, what is a major move the Leafs can do to get better? Probably need to do something on D as Tanev may be done.
But I’d love to see them do a big swing for Robertson. It’d cost a lot, I get that, but Matthews is playing with McMann and Domi, that needs to change.
If the teams were reversed, missing your top dman, top winger and your starting goalie not having played since November would be a perfectly acceptable reason for not winning.
Of course as we know that’s not allowed when it’s the Leafs only other teams. Absolute Morons were already hedging their bets before the puck dropped with the “Vegas on the 2nd night of a back to back” BS.

Vegas SHOULD win this game they have been better than the Leafs so far this season. If they can’t win this game they are showing how flawed they are.

100%, which is why I typically don’t engage with the overly emotional types on this board. Does this team have its flaws? 100%. They have a motivation problem and a problem staying healthy. Is this team insanely talented? 100%. If they can get healthy, and bring the intensity that they brought vs the Avs and the first half of the first Vegas team, they’ll be fine.
Leafs dominating the back end of this period. Getting goalied a bit, but we’ll get to Hill eventually. Would be clutch to get one more before the intermission.
Don’t know what he was thinking. If he did indeed get dummied by Tie Domi as rumours suggest, he might be a bit foggy.

💙Honestly, I never respected Mitch for his general attitude and insane situations and comments off the ice. Helluva regular season player, but an absolute fucking idiot otherwise, (not to mention games 5-7 in the playoffs). But he would gain a shred of respect from me if he just LEANED into a villain role. Make comments to the media about how he’ll win a cup with Vegas before Toronto does. Trash the fans. Trash the city. Just fucking lean into it. But, the kid just wants to be loved because his dad is a fucking asshole, so that’s not gonna happen.
