Could there be a goalie deal to be had with New Jersey?
They kinda need a goalie and Stolarz could fit there needs.

Yeah there’s a couple of unproven goalies there but how else are going to get the experience.
I’m think the Leafs will go after Bob. 4×7.5 ish

Not a bad draft for the leafs by all accounts

pretty much all Iv seen is they did well. 10 picks with 6 in the first 85
A quick start to restock by the new management.

Dont ruin things tomorrow with some dumb signings…example…Bob for too much for too long

His $6.25M bonus gets paid out tomorrow.
if the Leafs trade for Werenski, it’s going to open more holes to fill on this Leafs team.

flip side, they Leafs havent had a D as good since….Salming?
i know it doesnt happen without Knies going the other way..but yeah. there is like 3 or 4 D i would trade Knies for and he is one of them

im really not sure what Chayka has in mind for tomorrow, I see some noise about Patrick Kane.
Brink would be a good target, but i think he will go back to minny.

    anyways. get Werenski

Philip Tomasino wasn’t qualified. Could be a cheap depth addition, low risk. Only 24 years old, has scored 10+ goals a couple times, local kid, can skate like the wind, high hockey IQ. Worst case, he helps the Marlies.

I hope the Leafs don’t make an offer for Werenski.
The cost would be to great for the Leafs to lose.
Avs 2027 1st, Knies, Danforth or Cowen and a prospect like Quillan.

For me, that’s to rich. I’d rather go after Ramus Andersson

I agree, 2 year rental of Werenski and then he can walk with Matthews as a UFA. Not worth Knies.

Andersson is 99% going back to Vegas. 7 years x 8.5 AAV.

    Maccelli not qualified.

I didn’t like that trade. I didn’t like Maccelli. But that’s a waste of an asset.

Stecher signed for two years at 1.35 AAV. That’s pretty cheap but he’s pretty small. He’s a good 7th D but the Leafs still have problems on the right side, especially when Tanev gets hurt again.
