Boiler i read that article by Frenchy which was good, it wouldn’t let me post.

I saw snippet somewhere that said the last time or only kid his age was over a point per game in the KHL was Kaprizov.

You know me boiler I’m really excited about the pipeline. One day they are going to be suffocating as a team.

Watching the hogs last night, looking forward to Moore playing in the bigs he’s the opposite of Reichel he’s a kid who skates with purpose and the team defense will be better for it.

Yea i saw all that info by Powers.

I personally feel the Blackhawks are creating way more pressure on the puck in the defensive zone, so less time and space and limiting the opponent to less assists across the middle of the ice.

I equate analytics to this, the 1985 bears had one of the best defenses ever, the 1986 Bears defense set the NFL record for allowing the least amount of points against in a season. Analytically the 1986 bears defense was better but everyone knows the 1985 Bears defense was probably one of the best ever.

As disappointed as i am that Reichel could barely find his inner dog, I’m excited to see the team defense get better and knowing we got a few kids at the Rock that have that compete in their DNA.

The writing was on the wall with Reichel. If he couldn’t figure out KD had a type in drafting guys who competed defensively that’s on Reichel.

I am 100% for developing and giving your prospects chances, but if that player doesn’t have that inner dog in him it’s always best to cut ties with them.

Makes sense, watching again last night makes one good defensive effort out of 4 or 5. Plays like a passenger, wish him luck but no reason to keep him on with hungrier players behind him.

The best save he made last night he didn’t get credit for. That back hand flip by Kucherov along the baseline and Knight had the presence of mind to duck under it and not knock it into his own net was one of the most impressive quick thinking paid I’ve ever seen by a goalie.

Blackhawks last year had their 4th win by the 12th game. Tough stretch coming up we’ll see if they can win their 5th before 13th game?

I don’t expect this team to make the playoffs but it’s nice to be in these games now. Win way more 50 50 pucks, seeing forwards playing 200 feet of hockey.
2nd line that can score or is a threat to score. I know he’s young but a kid who’s playing like a top 5 goalie. Young blue line playing well together.

This has been a great 8 games.
