I think the Leafs can’t win a Cup with a player that bad defensively, that old at that price. He was useless in 6 out of 7 games against Florida.

So were the other star players.

R.Smith is to old. 34 and he cannot stay healthy. PERIOD!
and has hands of stone. He got what 11 points last year.
I’d rather keep Lorentz who will be cheaper and better IMO
