ParticipantYup, and I actually got to catch the jays game while sitting at the bar of Fatty Patty’s here in London enjoying a couple pints because my gf was craving their beef dip and fries. So I got to watch that game there so long as I brought that home afterwards lol. Pints are so much nicer than cans, and that place has good food so having it within walking distance is very nice.
And seeing Europe get The Ryder Cup was sweet too.
I recently ate at “The Squire”? across from the arena when I was in London with the kids for the Korn concert. Downtown was looking rough….or so it seemed…maybe all the construction?

ParticipantWell, the Jays hung on and won the toughest division in baseball…not easy to do.
Congrats to them, it was a fun season.
But, they need to win a series and against the yanks it will be tough to do.Lets go.

ParticipantI get what you’re saying. It’s what is making me curious if they learned something about how long Woll is going to be gone just yesterday or something like that.
Generally leave of absences are a few weeks minimum…unless its just a funeral.
I expect Woll not to play game until at least November, by the time he’s announced to be back and ramps back up

ParticipantMeh, hopefully, he’s not used in too many actual games…but the leafs are in a bit of bind…so a cheap average goalie is needed.
Reimer fills that quota….for now…just not long termFakepartofme
ParticipantAh yes, the Jays are leafing it.
Choking when it countsFakepartofme
ParticipantNo, off for personal reasons that won’t be addressed. I’m curious if it’s a family funeral.
Ah ok, hope all is well.
Fakepartofme
ParticipantAll the best to Woll, hopefully he’s back soon.
Is he injured already?

ParticipantWell the up side is getting to hear both Shoots and Ladders and Blind live would/should absolutely rock!
Enjoy!
Korn wasnt bad. Gojira was next level, not my kind of music but quite the show.
