WCW storylines where already getting ridiculous, but when Russo came over, that drove the last giant spike in WCW’s coffin.

Fuck you AA – you pussy.

Still using my username like a coward. Figures you’re a mitchy-boy.

I don’t think it is AA. AA is a total libtard, and UG is a complete cunt-servative.

Doesn’t matter if YOU forgive them.

This is kinda my point.. There is nothing to forgive.. The error here was made by

    1) The initial police investigation(Which was half assed)
    2) Hockey Canada
    3) The crown prosecutor that decided to try the case based of a civil settlement that the players didnt even know about.

The judge did everything but come out and call her a liar.

These guys had their names dragged through the mud and likely have permanent harm to their reputation when they did nothing wrong but party with the wrong.

The NHL is now saying they are ineligible to play because they has consensual sex with a woman. Guess they will need to shut the league down and suspend 99% of the players. My assumption at this point is consensual sex with a man puts you in a marginalized group and that then makes it ok.

I cannot believe I am on the same side of this argument as UG. I feel dirty.

I 100% agree with everything you said, even the bolded. I wll go take a shower now. I feel dirty…. lol

Looks like they may attempt Bolduc as a 2C.

    https://www.danslescoulisses.com/possibilite-de-jouer-au-centre-pour-le-canadien-zachary-bolduc-excite-par-le-nouveau-defi/

Hopefully we can find and trade for an established 2C (doubtful). Otherwise, there is nothing lost in trying it and seeing how it goes.

    Two quick observations:

    – Tavares on the open market would have received over $7M easy. In fact, some dumb GM would have probably given him $8M. He took a huge paycut to stay in Toronto.

Montreal is a fantastic place to sit on a patio and watch the pretty ladies walk by. The talent level in this town is much higher than their hockey team.

LOL, it very much is. I go there often, but I am always amazed at the female gene pool they have going on over there.

I know you want to view this trade as a W for the Habs but let’s not forget Dobson was a -16 last year and before you say “he was on a terrible Islanders team” he was +12 the year before on that same terrible team Cush29

The entire Islanders team had a rough year last year…lol

But to me, why the Habs are already winners is because they are getting an establsihed 1st line D, not even in his prime yet. He is certainly not one of the best in the league by any means, but he is a 1st line D nonetheless. Like I said, this could still very well pan out for New-York, but those picks could just as easily both be busts. It’s a very good extablsihed player for just potential. If these where top 10 pics, I would change my tune though.

I am starting to suspect something significant might be on the horizon.

Bigger than something like trading to get a pick in the 1st round.

(I also think they have some decent potential for good picks at #41 and #49.)

In the past few decades, Montreal’s first round picks have been spotty to say the least, but in round 2 and latter rounds, we always seem to find gems. So it would not surprise me in the least if pick 41 or 49 ended up becoming a very solid NHL player.

I have a feeling they will make a trade to grab a late 1st Symba007

I have a feeling there will be another bigger move then that.

Habs gave up 2 x 1st round picks this year (16 and 17 overall) + an NHL player (Emil Heineman) just to get Dobson so it will be interesting to see over the years who wins this trade. Cush 29

To me Montreal is already a winner, and the Isles “could” be as well. Montreal already have an impressive cupboard of prospects. To trade the potential of the 16th and 17th pic for an established, and barely entering his prime 1st pairing D. is just what the Docotor ordered for Montreal.

Should the Isles use those pics to move up in the draft and they acquire the player they want, they could be winners as well if said prospect ends up being solid.

The potential for a win/win is pretty high.

Habs likely dumped some salary somewhere… or will. Mash

Yep, I have a feeing it’s Price’s contract to SJ. While it’s never happened before, I could be wrong.

Elliot reporting Dobson to Montreal with an extension of 9.5M x 8 years.

That’s about 1 to 1.5 more than I would have liked. However with the cap increases and Dobson about to enter his prime years, I am ok with it.
