Participantyeah why would Marner want to help his team win the division.
Tavares scored 70 points for 4.3 mil
Marner scored 79 points for 12 milpretty pretty good
4.3 million helped get you a lottery team, complete shit defensively and worst core player in the playoffs when the goal was to get stronger for the playoffs.
Amazing failure on all fronts except the 70 points.
But maybe we can have a 70 point parade. Free pajamas for all the fans.

ParticipantVegas won 6-2, presumably Marner had a MONSTER night.
He doesn’t need to pad his stats on a shit team like some other guys.

ParticipantNot really much they can do anymore, it basically comes down to luck now, as long as they don’t do something stupid like beat Ottawa.
The Laughton pick is officially a second now, so that’s pretty nice.
This draft doesn’t have anybody that will turn this team around hard enough or fast enough before Matthews is a UFA. It will just be another prospect expected to do too much, too soon. They’re better off giving the pick to Boston and acknowledging this team needs to be blown apart and aiming to tank and rebuild for 2028-2030.
Knowing the Leafs, they will beat the Sens though.
Leafs trading a 1st round pick today for a 2nd round pick tomorrow. That’s a special kind of stupid. Treliving was the wrong guy from day one. And now he’s off to ruin Team Canada next. At least the World Championships doesn’t have draft picks for him to trade away.

ParticipantKudos to the Leafs. Gave the home crowd a barnburner to end the home season. Gave Joe Bowan an opportunity to drop a bunch of “holy mackinaws.” Still maintained their fifth pick.
Still 58% chance to not be top 5. Still got more to do to get it.

ParticipantLeafs should be looking hard at bringing in David Carle (brother of Matt Carle) as the next head coach of either the Marlies or the Leafs.
He’s been behind the bench for more than 10 years now and has become a multiple time NCAA champion with University of Denver. He would be one of the youngest coaches ever. He had to retire from hockey because of a serious heart condition. Reminds me of the Paul Maurice / Scotty Bowman story of a player who was denied a hockey playing career but turned his passion into coaching.
Also, from Denver, there is an unsigned UFA prospect named Kent Anderson. He is 6’3″, 205 and a RHD. Not an offensive D at all, he is a pure defensive D-man but might be worth an ELC to add to the shallow prospect pool the Leafs currently have on the right side on the blueline.
Kyle Chyzowski from Univ. of Denver is another NCAA UFA worth looking at. Definitely a small player for the NHL but 40 goals, 100 points in the WHL last year, NCAA champion this year, maybe worth looking at because he seems like he’s got some value as a free prospect.

ParticipantIt’s an absolute disgrace that Joe Bowen has been relegated to the radio for more than a decade and is retiring while this pile of shit garbage DEI Amazon broadcast is going on.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantLeafs Leafing up that draft pick position.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantSeries winning Goals
Tavares 1
Marner 0Where was that vs. Florida? Oh right, he was too busy getting demolished in his own zone and scoring 0 goals or points after Game 3.
Or the year before when he had 1 goal and 2 points in 7 games.
Pathetic playoff performer.
Great pajamas though. That’s enough to convince every retard out there he’s great.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantIn 51 playoff games with the Leafs, Mitch Marner had 17 playoff goals, 31 playoff points and an even strength goal differential of -13 with 34 goals for and 47 goals against.
Oh wait, that’s actually John Tavares.
It’s amazing how those pajamas turned an entire section of Leafs fans into complete retards, completely blind and oblivious to the facts.
You calling others retards and trying to justify it with this BS is just more proof of what an unhinged retard you really are.

Games 5, 6 and 7 from 2019 to 2025 inclusive:
Nylander – 20 Games Played, 8 Goals, and 8 Assists
Matthews – 18 Games Played, 8 Goals and 4 Assists
Tavares – 17 Games Played, 5 Goals and 5 Assists
Marner – 20 Games Played, 0 GOALS, and 7 Assists
Mitch Marner – Not showing up when it matters the most is how he will be remembered in Toronto by most, others like you will continue to pound your pud into a crusty tube sock over one of the most talented wingers in Leafs history who proved to be probably the softest winger in all of Leafs history & one of the biggest playoff no-shows when it mattered.
But sure, keep telling everyone how it’s JT’s fault. lol
23BigIQ Retard Ranger at it again.
Which line scored 3 GWGs vs Florida last year? That’s right, Knies, Marner and Matthews.
Which line disappeared offensively and was caved in defensively vs. Florida last year? That’s right, Tavares and Nylander.
Bend and twist your retarded mind in any direction you want and reality is reality. The Leafs went from 1st in the division, Game 7 vs. the Panthers to a lottery team. Suck that reality deep into your retarded brain.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantTavares is the type of person you want on your team, its no surprise the biggest dip shits dont like him.
what a beaut!Show his advanced stats from Game 3 to Game 7 vs Florida last year. If you have the balls, which you don’t. You’re trying to prove something true using metrics from the wrong context. Tavares sucked balls in the PLAYOFFS his entire Leafs career, he was never worth his contract and now that he’s on a discount, the team absolutely sucks ass.

ParticipantTavares this season is -12 at 5v5
his on ice sv% 88.48, last season is was 93.18 and he was +10
with net empty (which counts in the dumb plus minus stat) 2-18 (-16)plus minus stat is dumb and has a huge amount of noise that dummies like to use to make points..not surprising
Oh so he still absolutely sucks defensively. Great point.
Unholy_Goalie
Participantt in charge of 100% of the PP for the Leafs. When he was in charge of the PP in the AHL, it sucked balls.
By your retarded logic of “cooking without Matthews” it suggests the Leafs PP would be better off without Matthews which is obviously retarded.
What you can admit to being wrong about however is how this team has been comple
You are bar none the biggest fucking retard on here clown.
I mean I guess you have a lot of anger being an incel fucktard with no job, no prospects and no life but holy fuck your ability to double down and make yourself look even more retarded when you are proven wrong by facts is next level.
When everyone is telling you you’re wrong maybe it’s time to look at the asshole in the mirror and admit you were wrong retard.
Retard Ranger.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantYeah, but for the low low price of $12M, we could have kept a guy with 9 more points.
Helluva magician too, his disappearing acts were second to none.
As usual, your dumbass only tells half the story. Tavares is tied for the team lead in being -29 too. And yes, it absolutely is deserved because he absolute sucks dick defensively.
You’re one to talk about disappearing retard because when Tavares was getting 11 AAV for 7 years, he had the worst playoff numbers of all the high paid, core players. Tavares was in his prime and did fucking nothing when it mattered in the playoffs except be on the ice for a lot more goals against than he was on for goals for.
Low low price of 4.3 AAV. All those cap savings improved them so much they turned into a lottery team. 12 million to be 1st in the division? Nah, like you, the Leafs like to lose more than they like to win.

8.5% chance for 1st overall.
8.6% chance for 2nd overall.
0.3% chance for 3rd overall.
0% chance for 4th overall.
24.5% chance for 5th overall.
44.0% chance for 6th overall.
14.2% chance for 7th overall. If the Leafs stay where they are now, 58.2% chance Boston drafts 6th or 7th and 41.8% chance the Leafs draft top 5.
Better hope the Leafs don’t Leaf themselves now.
