ParticipantMcmann, Laughton and OEL scratched.
sweetExcellent news.
McMann to Edmonton for a 1st in 2027. OEL to Detroit for a 1st in 2026. Laughton to Buffalo for a 1st in 2026 or Minnesota for a 1st in 2027.

ParticipantUG desperately wants to believe the playoff teams have GMs as bad as Tre.
The man has crashed both The Flames and The Leafs now. Playoff bound team GMs won’t overpay for bottom six and bottom pairing guys, there will be sellers who give up their shit for mid to late round picks coupled with questionable prospects, the end.
Dozzer wants to ignore that players like Tanner Jeannot was once traded for Cal Foote, 1st round pick, 2nd round pick, 3rd round pick, 4th round pick and 5th round pick.
By a terrible GM? Nope. Tampa Bay Lightning, multiple time Stanley Cup winner Julien BriseBois. So, sorry retard but even the best GMs make retarded trades around deadline time.
Unholy_Goalie
Participantand 50% retained.
and which Teams out there who will make that same mistake the Leafs did?
Dreger is saying that there has been no reall offer for any Leafs player so far.Who gives a fuck if 50% was retained? It’s not because of albatross contracts, it’s to fit under the cap for the playoffs.
Plenty of teams out there. Buffalo, Detroit, Montreal, Seattle, Utah, Edmonton…there are SO MANY teams that are on the playoff bubble or trying to reinforce for the playoffs.
There are no offers because this idiot GM isn’t working hard enough to sell the players. He probably dreams he can still win the Cup with this rotten core of players.

ParticipantTall defense in high demand, they dont have to be good, just tall
Enter Carlo.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantNo one was gonna pay the price Tre paid for those two players last season.
I’d expect 2nd’s, 3rd’s and 4th’s coming back this deadline…maybe one 1st.
I already know Treliving is a retard and one of the worst GMs in the league but if he can’t find anybody to acquire Laughton and Carlo for a 1st, it’s absolute confirmation he’s the worst GM in the NHL and should be fired.
Remember, if the Leafs get a 1st for Carlo and a 1st for Laughton, that would be considered a LOSS of value because they actually gave up MORE to get them.
In previous years, Roy, Laughton, Carlo, OEL and McMann are all worth 1st round picks to contenders and pretenders at the deadline.
Also remember, there are teams out there who have multiple 1st round picks like Seattle that has Tampa Bay’s 1st in 2026 and 2027. And four 2nd round picks too. Teams like that might be willing to part with one of them to make a playoff push.

ParticipantA pylon like Myers just got a 2nd rounder. There are teams out there ready to make the same mistakes the Leafs made with Carlo and Laughton.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantNot a lot of teams are selling pieces hard and fast but the ones that have are getting 2nd round picks for bottom of the line-up players.
The Leafs are not a quality team but they have quality pieces that teams usually pay a high price for at the deadline.
Best case, they can walk away with 4 or 5 1st round picks. Worst case, 4 or 5 2nd round picks. But either way, the Leafs are better off with any draft pick than they are with this support cast of players.
But again, Pelley is a retard and Treliving is his retard puppet so the odds of their success is low.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantFor a 7 goal 4th liner? I’d take a f’n 4th. Average mid six guys are your 3rd rounder trades.
Laughton cost a 1st.
Trade deadline makes teams make mistakes every single year.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantGetting outshot almost 2 to 1 on home ice to another shit team. That’s the Maple Leafs way.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantTrade Joshua!!!
2nd round pick, at least.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantLeafs got 5 shots in 15 minutes. That PP looks amazing though.
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantMcMann is looking a 5M cap hit from the Leafs.
Trade him if they can.
LA: McMann
Toronto: LA’s 2026 2nd, CBJ’s 2026 2nd rnd pck.Players like McMann have got a 1st many times before. Fucking Laughton cost a 1st and a prospect.
Unholy_Goalie
Participantand 50% retained as well.
we’ll see how hard they sell.So what? Leafs don’t need cap space, they can retain on expiring contracts.
McMann, OEL, Laughton, Roy, Stolarz, Stecher and Carlo can all be traded.
Four 1st round picks, three 2nd round picks.
Go Sell Go!
Unholy_Goalie
ParticipantGO Leafs GO !!!.!!!.!!!!
Go where? To the auction?
Blackhawks sold Murphy, a defensive D playing 16 minutes a game, to the Oilers for a 2nd round pick.
Leafs can get a boatload of 1st round picks if they just sell hard.

ParticipantYes absolutely too short of a sample, but it is you who has constantly bashed Sullivan since his hiring. Usually in your arrogant, disrespectful way, trying to show up anybody who has shown any support for Sullivan. Sullivan was promoted to work with Lalonde and “bring new ideas to the power play” You didn’t like the hire and shit on it right away because you know everything. TO date you have been absolutely wrong as the PP has been running at a rate that would have them in the top 10 of PP percentage since Sullivan has been involved. So no matter how many times you belligerently try to shove your opinion down our throats, to date it is incorrect or at the very least unfounded. It is your opinion and is blatantly proven wrong by the stats. Please note I am discussing Sullivan and the PP so moving the goal posts to “well the Leafs still are not winning” is just immature.
So you say it’s absolutely too short of sample but declare some type of victory in the argument. Typical retard behavior. The improvement on the PP has been the removal of bad ideas from Savard, not from anything Sullivan has come up with. Furthermore, Sullivan isn’t running the PP by himself you retard. It’s been done by committee. Lalonde has also been a worthless coach as everything defensively, except the PK, has been dog shit, which is the major source of this team losing games.
The reason I did not like the hire is because Steve Sullivan is a nobody in the coaching world. Zero experience in the OHL. Zero experience in the NHL. He barely has AHL experience. It’s also why they did not and do not give him full control of the PP either. He’s just another warm body to fill the bench with occasional input. The Leafs were attempting to be a Cup contender and have world class offensive weapons. To bring in a nobody coach with limited experience is showing that the organization has no reputable options. The short term bump in improvement was not because of Sullivan, it was addition by subtraction by removing Savard.
