You need to understand, I dont want them to be good. 2026 and 2027 drafts are supposed to be loaded. I want this team to suck for one more year and stock up on prospects over these 2 drafts.
for real. none of this half ass retool shit that hasn’t worked. need some top end talent out of the draft. im fine sucking for a few years as well for the greater long term good.
It has become so apparent that even the blind fans have to see it. The culture on this team is broken. Its beyond repair now. The team with another new coach and Captain are now playing worse than they did last year. There is a cancer than has invaded the organization and it must be removed. Last nights effort was a total embarrassment.
trading for JT and giving him the C after like 30 games might be the dumbest thing this franchise has ever done.

if we finished 3rd, worst we can drop to is 4th, right? all non-playoff teams have a shot at 1st overall, but that’s it? i recall them changing the rules shortly after we won 1st OA after finishing like 12th, but not sure.
Not sure I 100% agree with the sheath and fox thing but I’ll admit I haven’t watched enough games to truly say anything there.
The bread thing, to me at least, is up in the air until we see Laf do this for at least a full season. If making him a top line player was what he needed to get off his ass, great. But I’m not convinced just yet.
Now the JT Miller thing really concerns me as it’s not just an on ice product issue. Maybe him being away from the boys has helped as well. Either way, unfortunately we will continue to not fail hard enough for McKenna

Maaaaaybe Drury gets some credit for picking up Kartye. I’ve probably come to the wrong place tho. I do realize he gave up Buch a few years ago
we need a larger sample size TJ. Gustafson was good for half a season then was absolute trash – i think you wanted to sign him for like 5 years at the time lol. nice to see kartye doing well, but i assume he’ll go back to his normal pace. seems a lot of times players rack up points immediately after trades then settle down. strome’s on a heater in calgary after being traded and having a horrid season.
nice seeing laf/gabe racking up points/playing well but wtf is this team doing… we need to LOSE games. franchise can’t even tank correctly lol

This is the only thread i see us chatting on – Brukie is referencing Jans most recent blog from a few days ago. TJ is commenting in the comment section there.
In response to Brukie – no idea why TJ defends him so much. It’s Chris Drury – he’s not some Rangers legend. Dude had a decent career but did nothing as a player for us during his tenure. It’s not like it’s messier/leetch/lundqvist running things where defending them nonstop would make more sense lol.
I’m able to see the new blog in the forums – unsure why you guys aren’t. It’s 2 below this one since this was most recently commented on.
Apparently I was logged out at some point, so anytime I came to check in no new blogs were posted so I didn’t bother to try and find which blog everyone was taking in. I logged in today and now all the new blogs popped up. This site is terrible/very difficult to keep up conversation. I’m glad they boo’d Drury last night, too bad the weasel wasn’t on the ice so they could’ve boo’d him more.
I have to agree, there are too many blogs forums or whatever you want to call them. The site needs to be able to have people only post on one active blog at a time. Like if Jan writes an article, only be able to post one that article. People dont need to have multiple placers to post. Its not that serious.

doesn’t help none of those blogs were pushed to the forums. if the blog isn’t on the forum i feel no one comments/it’s much harder to get a thread going. I had no idea he was publishing olympic blogs because i just come straight to the rangers forums lol

If you listen to JT after the game ..( my word is he disinterested. he has no answers for why this team is not playing well.. he’s looking forward to the Olympics after his “ I don’t know yeah I literally dont know” comments
on the teams performance. (Oh captain my captain) .. if that’s not inspirational.
Between Drury and JT man I’ve never been more confident that we are screwed for the foreseeable future.Trading for JTs contract and subsequently making him captain might be the worst thing this franchise as ever done – and there’s a lot to choose from. Guy totally screamed captain material with his post game interviews.
