Santander should bounce back, the thing with him is hes a free 30hr bat they didnt even need to get to the WS. him in the field is tough to watch, but we have been spoiled with the Jays great D.
assuming hes healthy, I think he has a good season.

Maple Leafs at 5-on-5 this season with..

Auston Matthews on the ice: 16-6 Toronto
William Nylander on the ice: 17-12 Toronto
Neither on the ice: 33-18 Opponent

Goalies will impact a lot (being bad), but Domi and Joshua big minuses

Not sure how it gets much better, outside of Goalies retuning to last season

if you look at these numbers, the leafs have been trending down since 2023, last season was propped up by Goalies.

Just gradually getting worse, and imo as the Tre moves start to take over the team. goalies not bailing the team out.
Dubas was meh GM, but I think he was at least better at finding skill to help the team, and fill out the roster.

I have watched exactly 2 periods of Leafs game so far this season. Just an all time low for interest for me.
Stats wise they dont look great.

I never really thought Treliving was a good GM, and Berube also, very meh.
Last season tdl adding Carlo and Laughton for a monster cost was bad, not against using the assets, but not for bottom of the lineup caliber players.

If they dont start to play better I may not watch a full game all season.

any who, how many days until baseball season starts?

The remaining 108 they went 68-40 (.629)
The Dodgers went 60-48 (.555)

Jays run diff in that 108 games +105
Dodgers run diff +78

The Dodgers were heavy heavy favorites, I even read someone say this
