On one hand: His regular season record in LA was excellent, and the Kings were the second best 5v5 goal differential team in the NHL from the moment he started to the moment he was fired.

On the other: There’s no way he can lose to the Oilers in the first round in the East.

Andrae porjected around 2mil, which is fine. Ersson may not be qualified or be depth cheap who cares.

Chayka drafting 6-8 years ago is not really important in 2026, he just needs to put the right people in place. thats very much up in the air still
