Apparently he veto’d a few trades over the last year. Isles offered Dobson …Canes Rantanen. I think he’s been planning to end up in Vegas since last summer.
Just with UFAs and moving out dead weight for draft capital or prospects, except B. Tanev use McMann or some other shit for him.

Great, a 3rd line winger (he sucks at FOs, 47%) who has a big body and rarely uses it (less playoff hits than Marner). Sounds like a great playoff flop (2 goals, 4 points in his last 18 playoff games), 1st round exit strategy. Another Laughton with a bigger cap hit.
He’ll get closer to a Cup in Vegas than the Leafs will without him, just like Kadri, another player idiots ran out of town.

Leafs are fantastic at drafting guys that are 5 years away from being 5 years away.
Better off trading every single pick they have in this draft for two-way, 2nd and 3rd line centers.
